BODYGESIC contains a unique and concentrated blend of pain relieving agents:
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Menthol - providing temporary relief by permeating the skin quickly and replacing the body's pain message with a cooling sensation. Menthol helps to increase blood flow to painful joints, increasing oxygen to the area and reducing swelling.
Camphor - provides pain relief from inflammation and joint pains. Used with other oils and agents, it can assist in delivering fast and effective muscle relaxation.
Oil of wintergreen - contains analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Oil of wintergreen is primarily used for muscular and joint pains, such as arthritis.
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS:
Emu oil - originating in Australia, this plant extract has been used for thousands of years by the Aborigines to reduce pain and swelling of muscles and joints. Emu oil is considered to be one of the fastest penetrating oils into the skin, making it an ideal carrier in pain relief creams.
Ilex - an herbal extract from the root of the holly shrub, it promotes circulation and enhances the pain relief properties of additional agents.
MSM - naturally occurring sulfur found in plants, it is a pain reducing agent which helps block pain signals by building a barrier. MSM is found in abundance in the human body; however with age, levels decrease resulting in joint pain.
Proprietary blend of botanical extracts and essential oils, using ancient Ayurvedic medicine.
